Hey all, Wilson here, we are approaching the end of year 2010...let's look back at our long journey of 2010!

First Day Of School
- We were suppose to play the national anthem but yea, it rained and all and in the end we did not play. But the fun thing was when the band was dimissed to their classes, the sec3 batch of 2010 had to change back to their shorts! Just when we were getting used to wearing it every since around November 2009

Orientation 2010
- The hard work and effort put in by our very own sec3 council and also the batch! Still can remember how many recruits we got...around 10 only, but it was a good effort! At least everyone had fun! Especially if you didn't do your homework and you still get one week left to do because of orientation!
- And remember Syakyr? One moment he was the emcee, and after one of the classes left, he came back with a sprained neck, and Dennis offered to take over as emcee, so funny man when he became emcee ' You have to look to the horizon and see what's good when you join band' - Dennis Lee

CCA Day 2010
- I loved this event! This was a band effort and it really did show the concept of 'One Band, One Sound, One Family' Pulling in recruits ( We had a total of 50 applicants! )
- And all the ensemble playing was awesome!
- All the sec2s of 2010 were the ones pulling recruits in, kudos to you guys =D
- Most importantly, we all had fun!

P.O.P 2010
- Another awesome event, so proud to see the juniors graduating to senior band
- Two section had the best section award - Percussion and Euphonium
- Most improved went to clarinets
- Damien's mace work was awesome!
- What more can I say?
- looking forward to P.O.P 2011!

O.F.O.F 2010
- This was the best concert I ever had in the esplanade! Played beside the sec4s of 2010 for the last time really wanted to make me cry =')
- All the stuff we did together, eat together, perform together, tune together and sign the card for Mr Benjamin Yeo!
- One thing I can never forget is the rehearsals that Syakyr had with us, demonstrating how to really shout! in the green hills fantasy part..haha...those times... Awesome student conductor lar he =D
- Then totoro was like almost everyone's favourite piece =D

Sydney Trip
- Then came sydney trip which a minority went, we all had fun =D
- Don't worry for those who didn't went to sydney, because...we're gonna go KL together! As one band, one sound, one family =D

MOE fiesta in the parks
- I can remember this too...hate to rake up the past but will like to thank everyone for working so hard...I apologise for pulling everyone's mood down, I just felt that everyone could have done better
- Can remember everyone wearing Hawaiian tee and how long it took for my council and the UOs to search the entire Chinatown for it, we took like, 4 hours? lol

National Day Celebration @ SAS
- Still can remember how eraly we must all report, but it was worth it, because we are celebrating the nation's birthday after all right? =D
- Then came the boxing round, between Jethro and Mcnair! Could remember a few days before that how many times Jethro said that he'll win and in the end..haha...he lost...
- Anyways, I'm pure Singaporean =D ( random )

Journey of the Youth Olympic Flame @ SAV
- Felt proud to be involved in a national event =D
- Can remember the SAJC rugby dudes joining in the dance club to dance...everyone was like laughing but it was cool

Founder's Day 2010
- Yes, this was the very first event Reuben and I conducted, and the very first performance for the junior band, was quite nervous but at least I didn't freak out =p
- It was like one of the first few times the school and maybe even the graduating batch hearing the Sec 2 & 3s playing as a band
- Can remember the excitement Brandon was in in his dixieland solo...haha
- Then came last parade, another emotional moment, apart from that...the awesome pizza treat we gave to them =D
- And not to forget...night rugby session =D

Farewell Mrs Charles
- Another event I cannot forget, when the band attempts to play the harder version of national anthem, was a good attempt I must say =D
- Still can remember Gideon complaining to me about his part haha
- Slow march was really awesome because it really suited the event
- Then came the combine performance between the choir and the quintet ^^
- And last of all, the whole band singing, or should I say shouting out, the end of term service!

Band Camp 2010
- An awesome camp, except the food =p
- I could say everyone improved, especially the junior band, but keep the momentum going!
- Could remember lots of stuf, from jeaphony hugging bryan, to people pulling down Darryl Tay's pants, to the disgusting hot dog bun for breakfast, the stupid writings on the whiteboard of my barracks, record time of moving percussion, Henley actually saying 'grace' and the combine prac!
- Band Camp 2010 will not have been a success without eveyone's efforts! ( Alumni too! )

Then came Botanical Gardens Performance
- It was like a competition. Between the last time we had performed and that day, and I can say ultimately we have won =D
- We played well even though a quarter of the band was not there, really showing the independence each member has =D
- It was also the last performance for 2010 and it was a blast =D
- And thank you for the juniors who were there!

Band BBQ!
- I can't describe this, only the photos can =D
- From the night walk up the..tsk tsk, I don't want to say here, to the water bomb fight, to the *ahem* huge bathe tub thats how I'm gonna describe it to the crazy movie and some people going high for some reason which I will not say =D

Band Dinner
- Held at QUALITY hotel
- Mass taupok everywhere after the whole thing!
- All the special awards! I won the PMS one!
- From the crazy mixture of stuff and making Marcus drink, to kennede dancing!, to hamsan and his cat walk, to wei hao and his horse riding, to Brandon and Reuben *ahem* *ahem*
- IT WAS AWESOME AND I LOVE YOU GUYS AND SASMB!

End of 2010
Thinking back of everything that has happened, it remembered that I only have 4 months left in this band...time flies man, Brandon is gonna be the next DM, Arrifin is getting his junior!, Shun Xian is gonna be called sir, Ganesh Sir is one year older, new instruments are actually coming in, Sec3s are wearing long pants already, Damien sir is gonna be a grand direct senior. Woah, time really flies

Beginning of 2011
And yes, stuff to look forward to...
- New faces in the band!
- New instruments
- SYF band March Past
- P.O.P 2011
- KL trip
- SYF 2011

Just when I'm gonna miss all the sec4s that are leaving, soon I'm gonna leave too...
I"m gonna miss SASMB!

Just wanna say
I LOVE YOU GUYS AND I LOVE YOU SASMB!
Cheers, Your awesome BMM
Wilson =)
